Office of Service-Learning

I currently work as the Assistant Director of Co-Curricular Programs in the Office of Service-Learning at Bowling Green State University. I work with a very talented group of undergraduate students who are called Civic Action Leaders. We collaborate to plan large-scale events (like the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service Challenge) and smaller events (such as #ServiceSaturdays). Visit our Facebook page to see what we’re up to.

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Ryan and I met in the summer of 2009. After serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer, I had a desire to make a difference in my community of Green Bay. Enjoy the videos below to get a sense of how Ryan and I spent our time together.

Even though I’ve recently relocated to Ohio, Ryan and I still continue our relationship informally. Learn more about Big Brothers Big Sisters online to learn how you can make an impact in your community.

Peace Corps

I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine from 2005 until 2007. I lived in the village of Nova Ushytsia and taught English to students in grades six through eleven. The following digital story offers a glimpse into my experience. If you’re interested in the details (e.g. community development projects that I implemented), you can view my Description of Service on my LinkedIn page.
